Paint Inlay Basics on Canvas

An Iron Orchid Designs Paint Inlay Workshop

Join me as we embark on something new and innovative. Once you use a Paint Inlay, you’ll love the results and want to use it again and again.

Choose from the available Iron Orchid Designs Paint Inlay designs as we create a 12 × 16 canvas-fabric tapestry panel. We’ll paint the canvas, embed the inlay into wet paint or clear medium, then remove the paper to reveal the painted design. Unlike a decal sitting on top, the inlay becomes part of the painted surface.

Your finished panel can hang as a tapestry, be sewn into a pillow, or be used as a backdrop for another project.

We teach more than a single project—we share creative skills and techniques you can carry with you and use again and again.
