Paper making is all the rage. Join instructor, Cheryl Myers  for an afternoon of fun making paper.
In this workshop we are going to make 3 different types of paper you can use for multiple purposes – in your journals, as writing papers, tags, gift giving, backgrounds in a frame, or on your own DIY projects and much more.

1. Faux handmade paper – paper made to look like you made it from scratch by boiling paper and using a blender! – we won’t be boiling or using the blender, but the paper is textured and has bits of dried tea, flowers, herbs, seeds, threads, and other thin materials.
2. Paper from napkins – we will be taking napkins and creating a sturdy vintage type of paper with the design of your napkin.
3. “Any size” paper – We will use scrap paper to create the size you wish…tearing and piecing together papers to fit your odd sized projects or journals.
No experience necessary. Bring your napkins and a beverage and enjoy an afternoon of paper play!!!!! We are there to help guide you while you learn the necessary skills in a fun environment with people like yourself!
(NOTE: we will be working with tea and water in spray bottles, so be sure to wear something you are happy to get tea stained.)

Class fee is $30 and pre-registration is required.
Supplies you will need to bring: 2 or 3 napkins of your design choice. All other supplies will be provided.

Workshops are held at: Artifact 5116 Southpoint Parkway, Fredericksburg, VA
