Time for goblins, ghouls, and … ghosts?

We know you’ve seen them.  They are hard to miss.  You know what I am talking about.  Giant bags of Reese’s peanut butter cups.  Mini snickers bars.  Hershey’s minis.  Stores are filling endcaps with the tasty treats, just teasing you.  Do you buy them now and hide them, hoping that you can resist the urge to break open the bag before Halloween when that sweet tooth hits and devour them all yourself?  Or take the risk that they will still be there in three weeks, knowing that if not, you might be that house giving out hard candies that no one likes this year, and that gets egged next year for dashing the hopes and dreams of those cute trick-or-treaters who come to your door hoping for a tasty treat, only to get a wrapped peppermint?

October isn’t just about the trick-or-treaters and candy.  It’s a time for the creepy crawly, the scary and ghastly, and of course, the ghostly.  Deep Creek Vintage is housed inside a manor that several historians place back as far as 1750, and many feel that it is not just the employees and customers who wander these floors.  During the month of October, we are pleased to once again be offering Haunted Mansion Tours to those who dare…

haunted mansion tours

Tour the manor and hear EVP recordings that have been taken right here at Deep Creek Vintage.  If you have your own recording equipment, you can bring it with you.  There will be a short question EVP session where you will be able to try to engage our ghostly residents.  The cost for this guided tour is $20, and spots are filling up quickly.  If you would like to reserve a spot, call our shop during our store hours of 10am-5pm at (540)623-3258.  These tours are limited to the 17 and older crowd.

Join us at Deep Creek Vintage for a spirited event!  Hope to see you soon!  Do you dare?
